Nearly a dozen different Widdervac nozzles are available for every type of welding, including brazing, soldering, MIG and Tig, stick electrode, and other uses.  Remember, Widdervac nozzles should be placed 3/4" to 1-1/2" from the welding arc for best results.
Nozzles used for SMAW ( Stick Welding ) apparatus, are also used for brazing, soldering, Tig ( GTA ), etc.
These nozzles are regulated by the distance from the arc or source, usually between 1" to 2".
TM-80 Nozzle is recommended for all vertical applications and for use on pipe and smaller weldments.  The flexible 20288 is ideal for Tig ( GTA ) brazing and soldering applications.
TM-200 Nozzle is recommended for the same uses as the 20288 nozzle.  It is a general purpose flexible magnetic nozzle for flat, horizontal and vertical welding applications.
TM-200 Nozzle is recommended for the same uses as the 20288 nozzle and a general purpose flexible nozzle for flat, horizontal and vertical welding applications.  Same as 20291 with suction cup for use on stainless steel and aluminum.
PM-300 Small Stick Nozzle is recommended for normal size electrodes 1/8" to 1/4" and under normal usage should not be repositioned until electrode is consumed (horizontal usage).
PM-600 Large Stick Nozzle is recommended for use in conjunction with our large machines.  It was developed for large electrodes and designed to allow consumption of a 1/4" to 3/8" electrode in one pass.  Does not have to be repositioned until electrode is consumed.
Side Stick Nozzle is recommended for use in conjunction with our large machines.  This nozzle was developed for vertical weldments and corners.
Nozzles used for FCAW ( Flux Core ) and GMA ( Mig ).
Selection of the correct nozzle for a welding gun can be made using the list of manufacturers and their models listed below.  If a particular manufacturer or their model number is not listed, please follow these recommendations:
For guns with swanneck, it is possible to use model numbers 20292, 20293, 20295.  For straight and some swannecked guns we recommend the use of nozzle 20150 or 20284.  It is also recommended for all these nozzles in applications over 500 AMPS, the nozzles be ordered with 1-1/2 foot section of special high temperature hose (20379).
Should the gun not fall into one of the categories listed above, then use the Universal Model 20300, for applications over 500 amps.
